Mr. Baker is a Software/Hardware Designer who has been specializing in micro-controller based products and systems since 1986. He started his consultancy business, Electronic Design Synthesis, in 1996. He has experience across a wide range of industries from manufacturing, geo-technical and automotive to agriculture, commercial and domestic.

Mr. Baker has completed many PIC^® based projects using HI-TECH C^® compilers. For example:

• Poultry shed HVAC controller with Modbus remote I/O, inter-shed site wide network and alarm monitoring
• Handheld service terminal with graphic display and SD flash memory
• Remote control garage door opener
• Beverage / liquor dispensing network
• Screw pile drive data logger

In 2004, Mr. Baker was awarded a gold rating for his service as a Microchip Consultant Program Member.
